How it began...
Express Events began in 1993 as a small, family-run event planning company with a passion for bringing people together. What started as a few community and residential gatherings has grown into a trusted partner for HOA event production. Founders Mike and Joy recognized a need for customized, themed events within HOA communities—where planning can be challenging with limited budgets and diverse resident needs. By focusing on this niche, they developed a caring, hands-on approach that blends creativity with structure, making every event not only enjoyable but meaningful for the communities they serve.
Family is at the heart of everything Express Events does. Most of the company’s events are produced in-house from its Temecula warehouse, where a dedicated team manages equipment, design, and logistics to ensure consistent quality and smooth execution.
Over the years, the family has grown into a close-knit group of event professionals, forged lasting relationships with vendors, and expanded its services to meet the unique needs of HOA communities. Today, Express Events remains proudly family-operated, known for its reliability, creativity, and genuine care for the communities it serves.
