1. Who We Are
Express Events provides event planning, entertainment, rentals, and related services for community events, HOAs, corporate events, schools, and private parties. This may include (but isn’t limited to) activities, décor, rides and attractions, catering coordination, and event-day support.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or booking services, you confirm that you:
*Are at least 18 years old (or have consent from a parent/guardian if booking on behalf of a minor), and
*Agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws.
If you don’t agree, please don’t use the website or services.
3. Quotes, Booking & Payments
Quotes: Quotes are based on the information provided and may change if event details change (date, location, guest count, scope, timing, access, permits, etc.).
Booking: A booking is confirmed only when we receive written approval (email/text acceptable) and required payment (deposit or full amount).
Payments: Deposits and/or full payment may be required at booking unless otherwise stated in writing.
Changes: Changes requested after booking may affect pricing and availability.
Weather/Safety/Availability: We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify services due to weather, safety concerns, venue restrictions, staffing, equipment issues, or circumstances outside our control. If we cancel, we will offer a reschedule or refund per the terms in Section 4.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:
More than 48 hours before the event: Cancellation may be eligible for a refund of amounts paid, minus any non-refundable costs already incurred (such as permits, special orders, vendor deposits, custom items, or administrative fees).
Within 48 hours of the event: Cancellations may not be eligible for a refund. We may offer a reschedule credit at our discretion, especially for emergencies.
No-shows: No refunds for no-shows (unless a time machine gets invented and actually works).
If we must cancel due to safety, weather, or circumstances beyond our control, we’ll work with you to reschedule. If rescheduling isn’t possible, refunds will be handled fairly based on services already delivered and any non-refundable costs.
5. Event Responsibilities (Client / Venue)
To keep events safe and successful, you agree to:
Provide accurate event details (location, timing, access instructions, guest counts, restrictions).
Ensure the venue allows the booked services and equipment (including power access, space, and any rules).
Obtain required approvals or permissions from the venue/HOA/school/city when needed (unless we’ve agreed in writing to handle permits).
Provide safe access for setup and breakdown (including parking/loading access).
Supervise guests appropriately, especially children, around equipment and attractions.
6. User Conduct
We like people. Let’s keep it that way. You agree to:
Be respectful and honest in communications with our team.
Not misuse our website or services (no spamming, hacking, impersonation, or disruptive behavior).
Use our website content for personal use only unless you have written permission.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is abusive, threatening, dishonest, or unsafe.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our site (logos, graphics, text, photos, videos, layouts, and branding) belongs to Express Events or our partners and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Please don’t copy, reproduce, or reuse it without written permission.
8. Privacy
Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect, use, and protect information you provide.
9. Limitation of Liability
We take safety seriously and use reasonable practices to deliver professional event services. However:
Participation in events and use of attractions or equipment is at your own risk.
Express Events is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, lost profits, or event-related disruptions beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount paid to Express Events for the specific service at issue.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally. If we do, we’ll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
